Meet Kipper. He's one of them good old movie dog Siberian Husky's. Difference with Kipper is he's actually been in some movies :o Here you can see him relaxing on a sick day - even dogs take them every now and then. Kipper's got a gorgeous yellow eye complimented by a gorgeous blue eye. Too bad he has issues opening them for photos... Something to work on in the future.

Moonscape
I absolutely love the moon. One of my favourite things about winter is that the full moon just seems so bright! It reflects off everything on a clear night. I was lucky enough to get off work fairly early... 6 o'clockish, on the night of the full moon and it was a brilliant, clear sky! I only took a few minutes to drop off Kelly at home before I took off for the Minnewanka loop just outside of Banff. I'd gone there a week or so ago with the girls and kicked myself for not having my camera so I figured I'd go get some moonlit shots (I still plan on going in the daylight as well) The following are a couple of the photo's I got that night. I can't wait for the next full moon now!
Two Jack Lake and Mnt. Rundle in the background.

Red
This here is Red. He's another Canadian Inuit husky and as far as I know, related to Mistaya who's pictures you can see on here as well. I believe they're full siblings but from different litters. Red's a bit of a different dog, seems most of the Inuits are. He's got his bark head flip thing, his goal to annoy the piss out of you every time you're feeding and his cute little poses like this one where he just can't decide if you're worth getting up for or not. Another two steps closer and the decisions made though!

Fatso
This here is Fatso. He was a neighbourhood raven at Stoney Creek Camp where I cooked for Warner's last summer. He had a buddy as well but she wasn't as photo friendly. Liked to sit way up in trees out of good shot range. Some of Fatso's favourite foods included baking powder biscuits, maple ham and pecking the fat from the sausage pan on the dish rack... Weird bird...

Missy
Work's been extremely busy lately so I've had to put the photography and editting the photo's on the back burner. Alas, now I've moved to an awesome place with awesome roomies, slightly less awesome internet and work's slowing down so expect more updates! In the mean time, here's a photo from last month of lil ole Missy. Missy's a lead dog with fantastic eyes. She's always good for a smooch and an original pose, as seen with the above stretch.

Tok
I figured it was time for a Tok post. Tok-Shaman, or just Tok...or just Shaman, is the wolf hybrid of the kennel. Somewhere from 94% - 98% wolf he's convinced he's all lupus! I personally love him. When he wants to be he's affectionate and funny.
This photo originally had his chain in it but I decided to try my hand at the cloning tool. I think it turned out alright except for a bit in his hair. Hair's hard to clone :/ Still, expect lots more of this bad boy, chain or not. I've already got tonnes lined up!

Firestar
Here's Firestar checking out the wheelbarrow full of straw. You can see her disaster area in the background. I'd just put all that straw in her house but she thought it would be funny to toss it all back out.
At first I didn't like this photo. The colour and composition really appealed to me yet her action was a photo wrecker. I've since sucked it up and fallen in love with it despite the handle sniffing.
